Yog-Sothoth is the final boss of the Yog-Sothoth event. He has two powerful companions, Yog's Golem and the Shadow.

Description[]

Using a powerful gem, Yog opened a portal to the Void and summoned Sagacity, Lord of Knowledge. After being given immense magical knowledge, however, he became convinced that humans were too immoral to use it wisely. It is implied Sagacity corrupted his mind, as he initially considered the Voidlord evil and kept him imprisoned. Upon Sagacity's death at the hands of the Voidslayer, his essence entered Yog's soul. He survived the events of Legend of the Void 2, and escaped to Titania.

He utilizes the powerful magics of the Void. He has very high health, an incredibly high mana rate and normal speed. He mostly uses Voidblasts to pummel the enemies and relies on his health regen and his bodyguards to dispose of his adversaries. He is also seen using Blazing Weapons to burn everyone into ashes.

Tips and strategies[]

Yog is pretty hard to defeat and expect losses in the battle. It is not Yog himself, who poses the challenge, but rather his two powerful companions, the Golem (it is the sane Golem from the first event, only with lower rates) and the Shadow, a powerful archer with high stamina and damage. Yog is in relative safety until the Golem is removed.

You have no chance but to dispose of the Golem as soon as possible. Although it is barely a threat on its own, the longer it stands, the more chance Yog and the archer has to deal damage. There is no point in weakening the ranged row because of the high hp regen. The Golem can be disposed of in the same way as the event, with the difference of its sooner death.

After the Golem is dead, you can choose who to kill first. It is better to go after the Shadow, because he is faster (he can attack twice before Yog) and has half the health of Yog's. Although he uses Power Shot very often, Yog will not heal him and therefore an overwhelming force of your 4 champions can make short work of him. Yog will constantly bombard you with Voidblasts, so heal every time he strikes.

Finally Yog will remain. He will stick to his primary spells, but his speed is very low compared to rogues and sub-par to warriors. He has low armor and three or four champions of yours should be able to strike before his turn comes, so use these to whittle away his health in no time. Keep healing and you shall prevail.
